Featuring on the 1st June in the Financial Times “How To Spend It”, ex-Army helicopter pilot Captain Hannah Shergold will host her second solo exhibition at La Galleria in support of the Born Free Foundation.
Since leaving the Armed Forces in April 2018 Hannah has been selected as the UK team artist for Prince Harry’s Invictus Games in Sydney and raised a staggering £50,000 through the donation of 6 of her paintings.
She also competed in the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year competition and will display her portrait of Ashley Walters at the show.
This year she turns her attention to another charity close to her heart. Since graduating in pre-clinal veterinary science from Cambridge University in 2006 Hannah has always been passionate about the natural world.
Her collaboration with the Born Free Foundation will help raise funds to “keep wildlife in the wild”, protecting endangered species and improving the welfare of countless animals across the globe.
Hannah's exhibition will showcase
“The Wild Collection” and will run from the 17th - 29th June with 20% of all sales being donated to Born Free.
In addition, the Private View on the evening of Tuesday 18th June will see two paintings auctioned with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the charity.
