Charlotte Roses with Bumble Bees

The soft yellow blooms of the old English rose
’Charlotte’ are visited by the bumble bee.
Without this delightful insect, plants and flowers
as we know them would not exist because
the bees are absolutely vital to the
pollination process.
Bumble bee numbers are declining quickly and if
they were ever really threatened we would be in
dire trouble.
They are being carefully watched.
They must be nurtured and protected.
We need them.
